Expanding Clinical Impact

Healthcare professionals are highly trained in diagnosis and play a critical role in shaping patient outcomes.

The next shift is enhancing this expertise — by integrating structured food-based strategies that influence metabolic function, patient adherence, and long-term outcomes.

FoodRx provides a clinically usable framework that translates nutrition into practical, real-world application within existing care models.

Eligibility and Admission

The FoodRx Professional Programs are designed for registered healthcare professionals and allied health practitioners, including:

  • Medical practitioners
  • Dentists
  • Dietitians and nutrition professionals
  • Registered nurses
  • Physiotherapists, psychologists, and other regulated allied health professionals

All applications are reviewed, and eligibility is confirmed prior to enrolment. Professionals outside these categories may contact the team for eligibility assessment.

Clinical Application, Not Theory

Through the FoodRx framework, practitioners learn how to:

  • Align food strategies with underlying biological drivers
  • Adapt recommendations across cultural and dietary patterns
  • Improve patient adherence without restrictive protocols
  • Integrate food into existing treatment plans
  • Support improved metabolic and clinical outcomes

Application of the FoodRx framework must be within the practitioner's individual scope of practice and professional regulations.

Two Professional Pathways

FoodRx offers two distinct pathways based on depth of engagement and clinical need.

FoodRx Practitioner Certification

6-Month Pathway

A structured pathway designed for professionals seeking deep integration into clinical practice.

5 Months — Structured Training

  • Clinical frameworks
  • Condition-based application
  • Patient strategy design
  • Communication and adherence models

1 Month — Guided Clinical Integration

  • Supervised application
  • Real-case translation
  • Implementation support within practice
  • Confidence building for independent use

This pathway ensures practitioners move beyond knowledge into real-world clinical execution.

FoodRx CPD Programs

Short Format

Focused programs designed for ongoing professional development and immediate application.

  • Condition-specific modules
  • Strategy-focused learning
  • Designed for integration within existing consultations
  • Suitable for time-constrained professionals

Participants may be eligible to claim CPD points in accordance with their respective professional associations.

Separate CPD-based programs may be offered periodically for non-clinical roles such as health coaches, support workers, and caregivers. These are designed for observational and supportive application only.

Seamless Integration

The FoodRx framework is designed to:

  • Complement existing clinical care
  • Work alongside medications and treatment protocols
  • Integrate into current consultation workflows
  • Enhance patient engagement and adherence

No restructuring of practice is required — only strategic enhancement.

Recognition and Professional Pathway

Practitioners who complete the certification pathway receive:

  • FoodRx Practitioner Certification
  • Eligibility for inclusion within the FoodRx Practitioner Network (based on application and demonstrated competency)

The FoodRx ecosystem is designed to support ongoing development through structured learning, clinical application, and future CPD-based progression.
